My favorite movements in Art are Pop and Abstract Expressionism. I'm inspired by flora and pop culture. My work leans towards a "gothic" idea with a little more hope from the era of the "hippies". I'm particually influenced at the moment by Japanese dolls and the styles of the "Gothic Lolita". I love graphic and fashion design. I feel both must make a sudden impact but leave room for contemplation of broader aspects of life.

I received my BA in Studio Art from The University of Texas at Austin in Painting and Drawing. I received my MA in Studio Art from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches,Texas in Sculpture and Jewelry.

Married. My husband and I met in high school and have been together over 20 years, of which we've been married 23.

Isabelle Nicolette, born January 6, 2003. I also have 8 cats, 1 dog 2 fish and 1 frog.

What else

I enjoy cooking and gardening. I have a wide variety of houseplants. I've also begun to collect mini Blythe dolls.
