My favorite movements in Art are Pop and Abstract Expressionism. I'm inspired by nature, religious icons and pop culture. My work has a gothic sensability but is still hopeful. The best way to describe it is to make something that is ugly or off putting into something beautiful and cherished. The dolls I customize are beautiful but I'm often inspired by something not so beautiful. I received my BA in Studio Art from The University of Texas at Austin in Painting and Drawing. I received my MA in Studio Art from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches,Texas in Sculpture and Jewelry.

Married. My husband and I met in high school and have been together over 20 years.

I run a lot. I try to compete in a race each month. I also enjoy cooking and looking for new dolls to redo as well as making art.
